The Woden-Crystal Lake Community School District Board of Directors invites offers to purchase its school owned house located at 430 S. Summit Ave., Crystal Lake, IA legally described as Lot 5 and Lot 6 except the West 146 feet of Lot 6, Block 6, John F. Kluver’s Addition to Crystal Lake, Hancock County, IA.

The terms of sale must include a reasonable earnest money payment with the entire balance due at closing and shall also include the following.  Prospective purchasers will be required to utilize a purchase agreement form and sign an “acceptance and release” form accepting the property “as is” and releasing the District from potential claims regarding the condition of the property, both of which are on file in the Administration office, 120 E. Fifth St., Crystal Lake, IA.     Transfer will be by quit claim deed.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any conditions of sale, negotiate further with any bidder or bidders and sell to the bidder it deems in the best interest of the District.  Any prospective sale is subject to completion of statutory hearing and other sale procedures.
