Juanita Earp Media Center
All students are encouraged to use the library/media center to read, research, use the computers for school projects, and check out material. If information cannot be found on a subject, every effort will be made to find it from another source. Visiting is not a reason to be allowed to stay in the library.
 
Students must have a pass signed by a teacher or study hall supervisor to come to the media center. If students are not working they will be sent back to class or study hall. A maximum of 6 students per period will be allowed to check out of study hall to the media center at any time. Movies or videos of extra-curricular events will not be allowed to be viewed during school hours for entertainment or extra-curricular purposes. Seniors returning to the building from educational sites other than Crystal Lake High School will follow the rules set forth for students.
 
The check out period for library materials is: A) Books-2 weeks B) Magazines-1 week
C) Reference material-1 period
 
If a book or magazine is lost or damaged, the student must pay for the replacement cost.
 
NO food or drink is allowed in the library.
